It was a please to welcome Andy aka The Average Golfer to Dundonald Links following his partnership with Golf Monthly.
Of his visit, Andy said “Dundonald displays maturity beyond its age. Originally known as Southern Gailes, the Ayrshire links is just the other side of the train track to another formidable course in Western Gailes.
Needless to say, it’s on pure links turf and winds its way through dunes and gorse”.
Whilst at Dundonald Links, as well as playing and filming a full 18 holes, Andy spent some time with Club Manager Ian Ferguson, learning about new clubhouse and accommodation project.
As he finished his review, Andy commented “It feels like it has been here forever, and it’s only going to get better. A fantastic golf course”.
